eartland Wines was started by a group of friends in 2001, all of whom have worked within the cogs of the wine industry from day to day for years. The Heartland owners are Ben Glaetzer, Grant Tilbrook, Scott Collet, Geoff Hardy, Vicki Arnold, Gino Melino and John Pargeter. The team is actively involved in all aspects of the business - from growing the grapes, winemaking and marketing and selling the wines.

There are three ranges under the Heartland Wines label. Heartland Stickleback, Heartland Coast & Creek and the flagship Directors' Cut Shiraz.
