The red wines begin with the unusual 2006 Dolcetto (70%) - Lagrein (30%), the latter an obscure grape found primarily in Alto Adige. Purple-colored, it offers a brambly, briery, plum-scented nose. This is followed by a ripe but somewhat compact wine with good flavors and a moderately long finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years
