The 2006 Cabernet was aged for 14 months in used French and American oak. Purple-colored, it delivers a fragrant nose of vanilla, cedar, spice box, tobacco, and black currants. This leads to a medium-bodied, elegantly styled Cabernet with concentrated black fruit flavors, a firm structure, and a long finish. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. It is an outstanding value.
