2004 Heartland Shiraz - 'very yummy indeed'
Matthew Jukes, The Wine List 2006 Nov 2005'Muscular Little Sod' - Heartland Shiraz 2004
Ben Glaetzer's
entry-level Shiraz is really rocking in the 2003 vintage. With
serious fruit quality and enough mint, eucalyptus and smart oak to
impress, you must find this wine.
But I can't wait for
the 2004 to arrive on the shelves. As every year goes by, Ben
learns more about his vineyards and his consumers - and conducts more
tastings each year than virtually any other Aussie winemaker.
This is paying off, because 2004 Heartland is very yummy indeed and his
fans will lap it up.
