"Heartland, a new brand developed by a group of Adelaide wine identities,
has won the 2005 Advertiser/Hyatt S.A. Wine of the Year award….a clear favourite
of both teams of judges – the winemakers and wine consumers. Chairmen of judges
John Duval supported Mr Glaetzer's victory. 'It's a great wine and a clear
winner,' he said. 'We appraised a record 762 entries over 15 classes this year.
The awards are a key event…to win outright will be very good for Heartland.'
'...Another Glaetzer product, the Heartland Langhorne Creek Viognier Pinot
Gris 2005, won the consumers' award for best wine in the Other Dry Whites class…"
When wine professionals and willing amateurs sat down to taste our state's

reigned supreme, reports Philip White.
'..Overwhelmingly, Ben Glaetzer's magnificent Heartland Langhorne Creek Limestone
Coast Shiraz 2004 romped in..watch this wine sell'.
