2002 Cabernet Sauvignon coasts through to take top Gold

Heartlands Coast & Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 saw off some stiff competition (including Penfolds Thomas Hyland 2002 and d'Arenberg's The Coppermine Road 2002) to win top Gold at the 2004 Royal Melbourne Show. Within the Dry Red - Cabernet Sauvignon section (Class 60) the judges said "there was a good general standard. Best wines have fruit sweetness and length balanced with oak."
