Directors' Cut - 'Black magic'

We're moving up the price range here, but even so this shiraz is still a bargain. The colour is extraordinary, truly a dark purple, it actually looks black in the glass, and the liquorice aroma and blackcurrant on the palate only enhance the effect. It has great body and structure with vanilla on the finish, all in a good quality, heavy bottle. In a tasting of 500 Aussie shirazes, this came in the top three, so a case of this is money well spent. Black magic.
